Add abbility to download files over HTTP (and maybe also FTP) There is already option to download *.torrent file specified by URL, so why we can't also download files using HTTP just like we are downloading them from torrents? but i think this could be quite usefull. transmission already can download files over HTTP so why not download
I Love Transmission. I use the OSX interface. Would it be simple to add an option to move the files to another folder when the download or the seed is completed, for example right after we get the complete sound ? I would love that because I could then take the files from that folder and automate transcoding to apple TV. Thank you in advance. I have setup transmission so that it initially downloads to a hidden file. After the download is done it gets moved to my Downloads folder, for immediate using. However i want transmission to move the download once more when it is done seeding, and, remove the entry from transmission. I'm using Transmission on EOs and I've downloaded a bunch of torrent files which ended up my Download folder in my /home. I'd like now to move the files to my external hard drive without breaking the link and contribute to further sharing upload of these files. Just change the path of the first command to the path where the ‘.torrent’ files are kept (i.e : cd /path/to/torrents_files). Save the script in a .sh file (i.e : deleteTorrents.sh). This is what causes chunks of unwanted files to show up sometimes. Transmission only downloads the chunks needed to complete the piece and run the checksum tests.
